We explain exactly what we collect — and what we don’t.

01 At a glance

By installing and using Timestamp Camera Pro (“App”, “we”, “us”), you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

02 Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your name, phone number, or email to use the core features.
• We do not access your contacts, messages, or call history.
• We do not build a profile of you from your photos.

03 Data processed on your device

To add a timestamp, the App needs a few permissions. All of this is processed on your phone and stored only in your device storage / gallery, unless you choose to share it yourself:

• Camera — to take photos, record videos, and add timestamps.
• Photos & Videos / Media / Storage — to save timestamped photos/videos and to let you pick an existing photo to add a timestamp. On Android 13+, we only request access to the photos/videos you select.
• Location (optional, only if you turn it on) — to show GPS coordinates / place name on your photo if you enable “Add Location”. You can turn it off any time in App Settings or System Settings. We do not continuously track you and we do not store your location history on a server.
• Microphone (optional, only for video with sound) — to record audio with video. Audio is not sent anywhere.

04 Advertising — Google AdMob

What AdMob may collect:

• Advertising ID, IP address, device type, operating system
• Ad interaction data and diagnostic / performance data
• Approximate location (from IP) for ad serving, where applicable

AdMob may use this data to show personalized ads or non-personalized ads depending on your choice and your region.

Your controls: Go to Android Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization, or use Google My Ad Center.

05 Other third-party services

Besides AdMob, the App may use these services for operation only — not to collect personal data for sale:

• Google Play Services / Firebase (if used) — update checks, crash reporting, anonymous performance analytics. This does not contain the content of your photos/videos.
• Google Play Billing (if you buy Pro / Remove Ads) — payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your card number.

If we add a new SDK in a future update, we will update this Policy.

06 Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided information to us, please email us and we will handle it.

07 Security & sharing

Because photos/videos are stored on your device, please protect your device with a screen lock and a safe backup. Check before sharing: if your photo contains location, the recipient will see that location.

08 Your choices

• You can deny / revoke Camera, Location, Microphone, or Photos permissions any time in Android Settings. The App still works — only the related feature is disabled.
• You can delete data by deleting photos/videos inside the App or by uninstalling the App.
• You can ask about advertising data by emailing us below.

09 External links

The App may contain links to Google websites or to its Google Play listing. This Policy does not apply to those websites.

10 Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when we add features or change advertising SDKs. The new version will be posted at this same URL with a new “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use after an update means you agree to the new version.
